{our} coffee table

Tyler’s sister donated this coffee table to us after she graduated from college.

I know … we’re taking hand-me-down furniture from college “kids”.

But we aren’t ashamed.

We are slowly upgrading our house one piece at a time and if we get the furniture for free – even better!

This coffee table is near the media console we recently refinished (seen here) so we decided Antique White with a stained top would be perfect.

We love how it turned out (even though these aren’t the greatest photos) and will enjoy it for many many years.

new clients, new color

Dara had this gorgeous coffee table & brought it to us because it has been well loved and needed a little attention.

She wanted an antiqued white finish with heavy distressing to compliment the console she purchased from us.

We safely removed the hardware & refinished the table.

 

The new look is beautiful & really emphasizes the hardware details.

Dara had emailed us her wish list & the top item was a desk. We knew this one would be perfect for her!

We refinished in a French grey with light distressing.

Cassidy was looking for a dresser & this one was perfect for her home. She wanted a dark grey & we customized this finish for her, which we love!

We love Julie!

She found Refreshingly Chic a few weeks ago and we are working together to find perfect pieces for her new home.

She purchased our black distressed dresser & mirror for her Bedroom and then we began working on a few of her existing pieces.

We {love} that she is filling her home with unique, custom furniture & is able to do it economically.

She has great vision and a lot of trust & confidence in our work – which we appreciate!

This hope chest is for her daughter, Eva’s new bedroom.

We transformed it with an antique white finish and wanted to find a way to make it extra special.

How about a personalized monogram!?

Julie also had this dresser and we refinished it to match her daughter’s hope chest.

She is pairing the dresser with one of our great mirrors!

We loved the existing hardware & decided to refinish it & add a special touch with new pink glass knobs.

This nightstand that we had in our inventory was perfect for Eva’s bedroom so she claimed it as hers!

It transformed into the perfect nightstand. We used the same pink glass knobs to coordinate with her dresser.

Julie purchased these two pieces for her Living Room and we recently refinished them in an antique tan.
